How many of you think that there are some Christians more important than others?  If asked that direct question, we would all probably say..."That is not how it is". But the reality of our actions reveal another answer.

14 Seven sons of Sceva, a leading priest, were doing this.15 But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?”16 Then the man with the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them, and attacked them with such violence that they fled from the house, naked and battered (Acts 19:14-16 NLT)

I have found myself, in the past, believing that I am not as important as someone else, or that other Christians have more access to God than me. Have you felt that way? We look at ministers in the pulpits, TV, or churches and we think that their prayer get results, while ours do not even reach the ceiling. Maybe that is why we probably see so many people following men rather than God.

The verse in Acts could bring about feelings of inadequacy or fear. After all, we do not want to end up like those men: overpowered, naked, and battered. BUT...the truth is that God  DOES know Who YOU Are!! He's known you since the day you opened your heart to Jesus.  You are His daughter; you are His son. He is the door. Remember that.  Now, there's the key: Do you really follow Him? Are you obedient to His Word? Because the Bible says he could care less about sacrifices and offerings if you reject His plan for you.

It is time to STOP walking around in shame (unless you have a reason for that--if you do, confess and turn around), or with a low spiritual self-esteem, and start walking like the son or daughter of the King that you really are! On this earth, things are contagious, whether good or bad. CHOOSE the good, the positive, the truth. Know that if you do, God will back you up.

This flesh only knows rebellion, weakness, and sinful desires (and I am not talking about chocolate). You need to submit all that to God, ask for the wisdom and strength of the Holy Spirit and move forward. MOVE FORWARD!! There is no time for pity parties or lying around feeling bad about yourself. In Jesus we are MORE than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Now, if you do not believe God, then there's a problem; a big one actually.

Just believe that Jesus loves you and that he went on to heaven to prepare a mansion for you; to "hang around" with you. Things that "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined [is] what God has prepared for those who love Him". (1 Cor 2:9 NLT). Now, that is really something. This is Who You Are; the apple of His eye, His beloved Bride.
